Star Stables, established in 1985, is a full-care boarding and training facility dedicated to developing both horses and riders across all disciplines. We have provided horse show instruction to thousands of students, with a particular focus on showmanship, horsemanship, and equitation.
We offer both western and hunt seat instruction, and our students and horses have achieved numerous accomplishments, including victories at the Indiana 4-H County and State Fairs, over 70 IBHA World Show wins, and top-10 and top-5 placements at the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
Among our notable students, Alexis Robinson, Amy Robinson’s daughter, won the All-Around Title at the 2010 IBHA World Show in Memphis, TN, on her horse Scooter Gulch, earning World Champion titles in Horsemanship, Equitation, Trail, Discipline Rail, and Showmanship at just ten years old. Ellie Rae Craig, riding Im Dun Roamin, earned the AQHA Justin Rookie of the Year award in 2000. Both exemplify the dedication and passion we foster in our students.
